The Pink Film Company announce trio of appointments

The Pink Film Company have announced that director Jeff Stark, producer Cathy Green and director Simon Green have joined the comapny.
Pink’s stable of directors also includes Michael Geoghegan, Pat Holden, Klaus Thymann, Phil Griffin, Dylan Kendle, Hady and Harvey & Carolyn.
Stark is recognised as one of the UK’s leading directors with a phenomenal track record. He is responsible for directing some of the most high profile and best loved campaigns of the last decade, which include Marks & Spencer, Virgin Atlantic, Carlsberg Export, Boddington’s, Batchelors Cup a Soup, Impulse and most recently COI.
Simon Green, who worked alongside Jeff and Cathy at Stark Films and then at Large, has campaigns ranging from Halifax to Smart Cars to his credit.
Karen Cunningham, Managing Director of The Pink Film Company said: “I am delighted that Jeff, Cathy and Simon have decided to join us. Their enormous talent and fantastic reputations will add an exiting dimension to the company. I have known Cathy for many years and am delighted that someone of her experience and excellent track record is joining at what is undoubtedly an exciting time in Pink’s history.”
Jeff Stark said: “For a while I toyed with the idea of opening my own place again but that would put pressure on me to take on work that I might not want to do. So I talked to lots of production companies and chose Pink. In the end it was a choice made from gut feel rather than logic. It just felt like a good fit.”
Cathy Green said: “I’ve know and admired Karen for many years and relish the prospect of working alongside someone who recognises our industries rapidly changing environment and for whom I have the greatest respect. Pink already has a strong reputation, which will be enhanced by our arrival.”
According to Pink, Frank Lieberman, Executive Head of TV at McCann Erickson has welcomed the appointments: ”Good directors need good producers who need good production companies. Ticks all three boxes for me.”
