Nordisk Film TV Announces New CEO Of Finnish Affiliate

Joonas Hytönen, formerly Head of Entertainment and Executive Producer at Moskito Television Oy, Finland’s largest independent TV production Group, is appointed CEO of Banijay Finland.
Nordisk Film TV, a Banijay Group Company, and one of the largest independent television production groups in the Nordic region announced today that Joonas Hytönen has been appointed as new CEO of its Finnish activities, taking up the appointment on 2nd of September 2013.   At the same time the Group’s Finnish activities known as Solar Television will be re-named Banijay Finland.
Joonas Hytönen, 38, rose through the Moskito ranks to become the Head of Entertainment in 2010.  Known for his intellectual rigour, humour and focus on creative excellence and execution, Hytönen has sold and executively produced award winning hit series such as Dancing on Ice, Survivor, Kitchen Nightmares,Dinner Disasters, Reality Queens of the Jungle and Connected among other titles.  He has also hosted several popular primetime TV shows such as the Joonas Hytönen Show on MTV3 since 1999.
