Square Group to launch film and TV production scheduling software

Leading system solutions provider Square Group will be officially launching a new piece of film and TV production scheduling software on Tuesday May 16 at its New Oxford Street offices in London.
"The Scheduler" has been designed so that Production companies can go directly from script to schedule digitally and it results from four years of extensive research and design by the founders of WattWenn, a UK company.
Peter La Terriere, Producer, First Foot Films, commented: "The Scheduler saves me 50-70% of the time I used to spend on breaking down the script and preparing the initial schedule."
The Scheduler imports scripts from screenwriting packages like Final Draft, and Microsoft Word and most other word processors. As it imports, the Scheduler starts the breakdown for the schedule.
Matt Lawson, First Assistant Director, added: "Like the best Mac apps, it's very logical, easy to use and intuitive. I imported a script from Word and within a few minutes, the script was on screen and ready for serious work to be done. For me the script is crucial, importing it saves so much time typing in information."
The Scheduler is now available, only on Mac OSX, for £495.00+VAT through Square Group.
To see the product for yourself join the product launch on Tuesday May 16 2006 at 2pm. Bring your laptop if you would like a review copy installed. To register for this event please visit www.squaregroup.co.uk/events-home.aspx.
A free 30 day trial will be available from www.WattWenn.com from May 16.
