Hi Tech supply control for Sony server to Innes

Hi Tech Systems have supplied Innes Technical Engineering (ITE), the event consultants specialising in lighting, sound and video projection engineering requirements for the conference and exhibitions industry, with a Hi Tech actiV Sports controller for their new Sony DSR- DN1000P disk recorders.
Not only was this a previously untried combination but also, having only just spotted exactly the right controller, the user had no experience with Hi Tech products.
With only a few moments tuition and little time to learn Innes Compton, Managing Director, ITE, said: β€œIt really was a giggle. Everybody was saying it would be too complicated to set up and run. We plugged the panel in, it was very straightforward to use and we were able to get on with the job of providing the video sources for the show after only a short time at the controls.”
Although there was almost no time, Hi Tech had modified the loop replay function to enable looping individual cued items.
The DSR-DN1000P has one input and one output and its external control requires two VTR ports. Hi Tech supplied the actiV Sports controller that offers control of VTRs as well as disk recorders and servers.
