Ross Video SoftMetal Gets Control With Hi Tech Systems
Ross Video, designers and manufacturers of a wide range of innovative products for use in live production applications, is collaborating with Hi Tech Systems, a company which develops and manufactures remote controllers for VTRs and disk servers, on packaging the HT-455 actiV Filer as an optional hardware based controller for the popular line of SoftMetal Video Servers.
Tom Favell, Managing Director, said: "We are very pleased to expand our relationship with Ross. Our range of controllers works very well with the Ross SoftMetal Series Video Servers, and the HT-445 in particular is a great fit for live production use."
Jeff Moore, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, said: "The HT-445 has proven to be a great companion to the SoftMetal Series. The solution works so well, we decided to make it easy for our customers to be able to buy them together in a package."
The Hi Tech HT-445 actiV Filer controller is specifically designed for the control of video disk recorders and video servers. The controller provides an array of VTR like control buttons, a jog/shuttle knob and a visual interface to view clips and build and run playlists. The HT-445 simplifies the complex media control tasks for stress free on air operations.
SoftMetal is a line of multi-definition video servers designed for live production and master control applications. SoftMetal excels in its ability to support file-based workflows for video clips and graphics.
