Trilogy announce enhancements for Sentinel

Trilogy Broadcast, providers of intercom/talkback, signal monitoring and SPG equipment, have announced the introduction of significant enhancements to their Sentinel signal monitoring system.
Already widely adopted by broadcasters across the world, Sentinel's capabilities are now enhanced by the new COSMOS 2 software, which allows multiple clients to view selected elements of the whole Sentinel network. Major improvements have been made to the alarm event and masking functions, allowing fault indications in different areas of the system to be grouped together and displayed in a format that is easy for an operator to interpret.
XML file transfer allows data to be easily exported to third party supervisory systems, is in addition to the existing wide range of alert mechanisms, which include pager, SMS messaging and email.
The new Sentinel hardware updates are being progressively phased in to allow the wide range of fault detection parameters to be set up remotely under software control.
