LEAF call for participation papers

LEAF, The London Effects and Animation Festival, have issued a call for papers from industry experts wishing to participate in this year's conference.
Participation is invited from computer graphics artists and animators working on innovative projects within the digital sphere. The submissions deadline is May 16 2003 and results will be announced June 16 2003.
LEAF is part of Digital Arts World 2003 and takes place October 28-30 2003 at Earls Court, London.
"Anyone who is breaking the boundaries with a new project or developing new techniques now has the opportunity to shout about it," said Sophie Trainor of LEAF. "Submitted papers will be combined within the overall framework of the conference which covers all the key areas of digital creation. This way we will give our audience the best possible content, aesthetically and technically."
Papers are invited on topics concerning animation or CGI work created for TV, film, games, 3D, industrial/product design, visualisation and the Internet.
Submitted papers will undergo a review process by a body of industry figures that will include professionals, academics and commentators.
Acceptance criteria will comprise Excellence, Innovation, Relevance and Originality.
