Avid and Digidesign to showcase new DNA Family at IBC 2003

The European headquarters of Avid Technology have announced that the Experience Avid|DNA Tour will be extended to IBC 2003.
Avid’s main focus at IBC will be an Avid Digidesign exhibit to show the development of its new DNA family, which has not only introduced Avid’s revolutionary next generation product line, but significantly improves the possibilities for collaboration with the Digidesign range of audio post production tools.
In addition, Avid will host a series of DV editing training sessions in the IBC training zone, and participate in the seminar and panel program as well as in the ProMPEG Forum. Avid will also be a sponsor of the IBC TV News and will host a Pan European User Group on Saturday September 13th 2003 in Room B. Avid’s Experience-On The Road Coach, a mobile version of the Experience Avid|DNA Tour focusing primarily on Broadcasters, is also scheduled to be at IBC 2003.
This year IBC will introduce some major new initiatives, one of which is the staging of a wide variety of ancillary events, which offer visitors a greater opportunity for learning, debate and discussion. IBC’s Corporate Affairs Director, Michael Crimp said “By introducing these ancillary events, IBC now provides a place for Avid to effectively extend its Experience Avid|DNA Tour and to continue its philosophy of contribution back into the industry.”
