SIS Live Celebrates OHSAS 18001 Accreditation

Outside broadcast, uplink and product design provider SIS LIVE has achieved the internationally recognised OHSAS 18001 accreditation, establishing it as one of the leaders in its field.
OHSAS 18001 is an Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series for health and safety management systems. It is intended to help organisations to control occupational health and safety risks and was developed to set a standard against which companies could be assessed and certified.
This independent assessment was conducted by the leading Certification Body, the British Assessment Bureau and demonstrates SIS LIVE’s commitment to customer service and quality in delivery. SIS LIVE has now earned the right to display the coveted British Assessment Bureau OHSAS 18001 certification mark to demonstrate its conformance to the standard.
OHSAS 18001 was first introduced in 1999 and requires organisations to assess their risk and implement an effective occupational health and safety management system to promote a safe and healthy working environment. Certified organisations are committed to continuous improvement and are assessed annually to ensure progress is being maintained.
SIS LIVE has shown that it has good processes in place to highlight and manage health and safety risks and is committed to further development in the future.
