Senior US appointment at Lightworks

Stephen Goldsmith has joined editing equipment manufacturer Lightworks as Vice President Sales & Operations, Americas.
His first task will be to establish Lightworks’ presence in the Americas.
Goldsmith joins from pingAUDIO, where he served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing for two years. Additionally, he has held a number of senior industry positions in his career to date, including a five-year period with Avid as Director of Motion Picture Marketing and a previous two-year spell with Lightworks, where he held the position of Vice President, Film and Entertainment Sales.
Goldsmith said: “The opportunity to help re-establish Lightworks in the Americas is an exciting one.
"The new Lightworks Touch system is getting a fantastic reception from both existing and potential users, and I look forward to developing the business in this important market area.”
