Itfc 'Making The News' At IBC

Leading post-production company, itfc, will keep IBC visitors up to date this year.
The company will once again make IBC TV News accessible at the global broadcasting industry event in Amsterdam.
With delegates and exhibitor numbers expected to top last years’ figure of 47,000, itfc's subtitles will for the tenth year running, ensure visitors are kept up to date with the latest stories breaking at the show each day.
IBC is a major broadcasting industry event that continues to grow and attract new visitors from around the world. Providing delegates with accessibility to the latest news as they move through the exhibition has become a key part of the show.
With many attendees for whom English is a second language or for those who are deaf or hard of hearing, the subtitles are a key element and provide them with an enhanced show experience.
Content is shot in formats including HD, SD and mobile at the show and is then edited and subtitled on site ready for broadcast the next morning on IBC TV News.
Visitors who want to watch the latest industry news first thing can tune into the local cable channel AT5 from their hotel rooms.
They can also keep up with the news shown on the screens as they wander through the exhibition halls and watch the latest updates, complete with itfc subtitles. News will be available between 7-9am each morning in over 10,000 hotel rooms.
Sue Robinson, a producer at IBC TV News said "We're committed to making sure the show is accessible to all and we're delighted that itfc continues to help us achieve this."
IBC runs from 9-13 September, 2011.
