Incite to show broadcast workflow solutions at IBC
Incite Multimedia Corporation will be featuring this year at IBC (booth 7.210) its complete line of software solutions for news editing, broadcast and postproduction, designed to provide a complete, end-to-end production workflow for both single system and large networked environments. With transparent multi-station collaboration and using the latest network technology, the Incite Editor family is the complete answer for the most demanding needs in the broadcast field.
The Incite production model is based on a hierarchical arrangement of products that can handle ingest, media management, low-res (proxy file) and high-res, real-time editing, editing during acquisition, newsroom production, studio quality post/promo editing, and editing and delivery in HD. All the new products are based on the new user interface layout and data structure, so moving between the applications is virtually effortless and all products can open the same project files without conversion for fast, simple collaboration.
A newsroom can be efficiently handled with an automated, MOS style data structure, where projects are defined by a rundown list. Each journalist, producer, and editor can access the media and projects, regardless of whether they are using a full real-time editing system or a software codec based solution, and can link in to the existing automation systems as well. “It’s an octopus strategy,” says Amir Rijavic, Incite Product Manager. “The model reaches out and connects with all points of the production process and pulls it all together. And it is open enough to integrate with traditional solutions, so you do not have to replace all your legacy equipment.”
