Incite Editor launched at Matrox's NAB stand

Matrox Video Products Group and Incite will showcase the Incite Editor line of products for Matrox DigiSuite MAX at NAB 2002 in booth S4427.
The Incite software has been designed from the ground up to work in networked post-production and broadcast environments. The product is one of the key editing applications to be shown in the Matrox Networked Broadcast Studio demonstration.
"Incite offers the perfect software to harness the advanced real-time capabilities of Matrox DigiSuite MAX. It provides all the tools that professional editors need to work quickly and creatively," said Tony Manolikakis, Matrox DigiSuite Senior Product Specialist.
"It offers the ability to log, edit and composite media while it is still being captured. It provides a vast array of keyboard shortcuts that allow one-button activation for common editing tasks. It even gives users the option to add workstation-level audio performance and JL Cooper media command stations."

For broadcasters, this means stories can go straight to a server, ready to be picked up by the playout station. For post houses, this means they can encode in MPEG-2 in real-time to easily publish on DVD."
Key features of Incite Editor with Matrox DigiSuite MAX include: real-time broadcast-quality digital video effects powered by Matrox Flex 3D; analogue component, Y/C, and composite support; choice of native-DV, DV50, MPEG-2 I-frame 50 Mbps, or M-JPEG editing; and real-time MPEG-2 encoding for DVD authoring.
The Incite Editor is bundled with Inscriber TitleMotion, Boris FX 6.0, Incite's interpolated motion control filter, and Incite's timeline export to Adobe After Effects feature. The Incite Editor Studio includes real-time audio FX, hot-mixing for levels and FX keyframing, customisable VU meters, 5.1 surround sound mixing, full duplex voice-over recording, LTC timecode display output on a video monitor, and OMF 2.2 audio export.
