Gilbert Viegas joins Eyeheight as Sales Manager

Eyeheight is expanding its management team with the appointment of Gilbert Viegas as Sales Manager.
Born in Casablanca, Morocco, in 1952, he graduated in electronics and telecommunications at the University of Toulouse. He commenced his broadcast industry career in 1980 as a test engineer at Avitel where he advanced to the role of international sales manager.
Joining Leitch in 1997 as Regional Sales Manager for southern Europe, he progressed to BarcoNet as UK broadcast sales manager and in 2002 to Broadcast Technology as Key Account Manager. He reports to Eyeheight's Managing Director, Martin Moore.
Commenting on the appointment Martin Moore said: "Gilbert's appointment reflects increasing business at Eyeheight arising from the introduction of our format-independent evolutionDT platform which enables programme producers, postproduction facilities and broadcasters to expand from standard-definition to multi-definition operation with equipment that works efficiently across all commonly-used line-rates and signal formats."
