Will Garbutt Joins Prime Focus Sales Team

Prime Focus has appointed Will Garbutt as Senior Sales Executive for its UK broadcast division.
The former senior broadcast producer brings vast technical experience as well as an impressive list of contacts.
Having been involved in the post production industry since 1997, Will has worked for many of Soho's leading facilities during his career. As part of his role in the Prime Focus' Broadcast production team, he's also been a senior project manager on many of the larger long-form projects including America The Story of US, Fugitive Chronicles and Jamie's Ministry of Food, as well as overseeing HD, 5.1 and tapeless workflows.
Will said: "During my five years as a broadcast producer at Prime Focus, I've built strong relationships with clients and have made many connections in the industry. This role required a certain amount of business development, so moving into the sales team seemed a natural fit."
He added: "Broadcast post production is evolving fast, with new cameras, format and workflows forever changing, so education is the key to nurturing new business. Our clients need this support and advice more than ever and this is something that the Prime Focus business development team to exceptionally well."
Prime Focus MD, Simon Briggs, said: "Amongst Will's strengths as a producer was his understanding of workflows and the production process as well as his fantastic client relationship skills. In coming back to Prime Focus we wanted to utilise those strengths in a different way and give him time to develop business for us and work alongside our existing sales and production teams.
