Rushes Launch New Media Traffic Department
Rising to meet the challenges and demands of ever changing and faster requests, Rushes have launched an integrated Media Traffic Department.
Media Traffic is a one stop specialised department handling all traffic and duplication of physical and file based media, from start to finish. This will include BACC approvals, all digital and terrestrial play outs, FTP uploads and all duplication.
Sharon Hill, Head of Media Traffic explained: "This is the next evolution for the scheduling/library team. In addition to handling traditional formats such as tapes and film, we will now deal with all movement of digital and file based media as well. Our clients can talk to one person to locate any piece of material, take any kind of dub order and check upon any type of delivery. This change will also assist the Rushes scheduling team to provide a greater focus for our clients, and to spend the extra time needed on quoting, scheduling and co-ordinating productions."
Calvin Cunningham, Head of Scheduling concluded: "We want to ensure that we are as helpful as we can be to clients. Commercials are so last minute, with ever shortening time scales, so the need to be able to react speedily and respond to requests is vital. This change will enable my team to be more dedicated to our client’s, their projects and needs, ensuring we return the trust that is placed with us. It's the right step forward."
