Beijing Film Academy Purchases EQ And Genetic Engineering

China's highly respected Beijing Film Academy has placed two orders with Quantel - one for its Film & TV Technology Department and a second for its Cinematography Department.
The Film & TV Technology Department has upgraded its Pablo to full 4K operation and doubled its storage, as well as massively increasing its processing power and speed with the addition of three Quantel media engines. The system has also been equipped with Quantel's award-winning Stereo3D technology and the recently-introduced soft-Sam option, which enables transparent access to the Pablo media store for third party systems.
The Cinematography Department, already home to a Pablo HD system with Neo, has added an eQ finishing system and Genetic Engineering - an upgrade that will dramatically improve workflow and increase throughput.
