CABLEready Promotes Eric Benitez To VP

The international television programme distribution and development company, CABLEready, has promoted Eric Benitez to Vice President of Operations.
The announcement was made by Gary Lico, President of CABLEready.
Mr Lico said: "Eric has been instrumental in the launch and the successful ongoing operation of CABLEready Productions. During its first year, the new unit has exceeded our goals and we are now celebrating significant growth due in large part to his efforts and dedication. Eric's career has blossomed here; he's cut costs in some areas, and is now generating revenue as well. A consummate team members and company success story!"
Mr Benitez most recently served as CABLEready's director of operations. He will continue to be responsible for day-to-day operations including the management of all traffic broadcast materials, catering to all of the company's technical needs, as well as rights management. He also runs day-to-day operations of CABLEready Productions.
CABLEready Productions provides complete duplication and standard conversion services from and to: HDCAM 1080 60i, HDCAM 1080 50i, Digi NTSC, Digi PAL, Beta SP NTSC, Beta SP PAL, VHS NTSC, VHS PAL, DVD NTSC and DVD PAL formats.
Also, CABLEready Productions' Final Cut Studio offers editing, audio conversions, video compression and DVD authoring services. This division serves the needs of such clients as Steadfast International (UK), Global Telemedia (USA) and Scott Patrick Productions (USA).
Prior to joining CABLEready, Mr Benitez served as commercial coordinator of paid programming for both OLN (now Versus) and Speedvision.
