Zandar sign contract with major French TV channel

France 3, a major French TV channel with more than 30 local news facilities, has purchased five Zandar DX-16 Digital MultiViewers to use in their facilities in Paris, Lille and Caen.
In Lille the MultiViewers are being used in conjunction with Plasma displays to monitor 12 channels (VTRs and Server) ready to be aired. This option was selected because it takes up less space and offers the ability to control all of the channels on one single screen very easily, as the operator in charge of the server and the VTRs is not located in the same studio but in a second studio down the hall.
The entire project was managed by AV2P, Zandar’s French reseller. Eric Soulard, technical manager for AV2P, said: “The Zandar DX was selected because of its unique features, its perfect matching with the customer demands and its ease of use in conjunction with the server for the operator.”
