New Brick House switchers debut at IBC

Brick House Video, manufacturer of compact cost-effective equipment for production and post-production, chose IBC to launch a range of new features to enhance the company's highly successful SDI 10-bit component switcher.
The VTB-1D switcher allows a viable and cost-effective entry into the digital domain for both small and large operations and is available as a portable stand-alone (12V powered) or rack-mounted unit with separate remote panel.
This cost-effective switcher integrates all the necessary features for effective field and in-house vision mixing, including auto/manual dissolve and wipe, 4X4 SDI Input/Output, analogue composite program output for monitoring, embedded audio switching, internal test generator, 525/625 switching, GPI and RS-422 edit control.
The combination of portability, low power consumption and realistic pricing makes the VTB-1D an invaluable asset for the SDI user.
Brick House have also released the VTB-2A, reputedly the world's smallest composite switcher. The VTB-2A, based upon the architecture of Brick House Video's successful VTB-1A, incorporates all the features necessary to accomplish composite editing in the field. The broadcast quality, low-cost 4X4 Input/Output 12V miniature switcher features auto/manual dissolve and wipe, auto fade to black, auxiliary bus outputs, GPI and is NTSC/PAL switchable.
