Brick House Video's Callisto Switcher Goes HD At IBC2008
A leading manufacturer of vision switchers and rate/format converters, Brick House Video, is set to introduce an HD version of its popular Callisto switcher at IBC in Hall 8 Stand B61.
The Callisto-HD follows its SD predecessor in offering hybrid capabilities ideally suited to the SNG/ENG world.
The unit incorporates the Super Resolution Bandlet Technology first seen in Syntax, BHV's award-winning up/down/cross converter, thus allowing the user to handle analogue, SDI SD and SDI HD signals seamlessly in a single unit.
BHV will also be demonstrating its entire Callisto suite of dual frame store synchroniser vision switchers, including the Callisto-R, a rack-mount 8-input 1U main frame with separate control panel, the Callisto-P portable 6-input unit and the Callisto-F rack-mount version for automation systems. All models come with remote control and DSK as standard and have the option of composite inputs.
