Chelsey Goes Global
i-Rights, part of the Digital Rights Group (DRG), and brand new online trading platform brandirector.com have joined forces to take the new online comedy series Chelsey: OMG! which made its debut on Bebo this week out to the commercial market.
i-Rights who are distributing Chelsey: OMG! worldwide have partnered with Brandirector.com and together they will represent the potential brand integration and associated sponsorship opportunities offered by the satirical online video series.
The series, which is aimed at 16-25 year olds, was created by Nat Coombes and produced by Channel X Productions.
It follows the adventures of a naïve but irrepressibly upbeat American girl making her first trip to the UK and Europe.
An ongoing narrative is interspersed with Chelsey's thoughts on everything from her pet dog Betsy to Sarah Palin's recipe for potato salad.
Justin Judd of i-Rights said: "We felt that brandirector.com was the ideal platform for getting brands on board Chelsey: OMG! Just as the series is the first comedy to launch on Bebo, so we're delighted to be the first content partner for Brandirector.com.
"The series has already received a great response and we are confident many brands will want to be a part of this online phenomenon."
