Soho Editors Expand To Belfast

One of the world's largest post-production talent agency and creative & technical training providers Soho Editors, has now opened an office in Belfast.
Editors Training Chief Executive Officer, Brain Cantwell said: "We have been working to develop our company across all regions of the UK and we see Belfast as one of the key creative hubs.
"Our company can only thrive in a truly creative environment, so it seemed a natural progression. We have other sites in the UK including London, Manchester, & Gloucestershire all of which support the creative community around them," he said, commenting that, for many years, the company had been supplying freelance talent and post production training 'remotely' to the Belfast market, "but now we have reached critical mass and taken the decision to open a physical training centre from where we can run our accredited and bespoke courses from".
As an introductory offer they have managed to secure funding of up to 80% of the course price on selected courses.
Mr Cantwell remarked: "Wherever possible we will work with Local Government, The Sector Skill Council (Skillset), RDAs (Regional Development Agencies) and even the Lottery Fund to maximise the benefits to our clients. We find the funding so that they don't have to," he concluded.
Meanhwile, Soho Editors Training are also going to be holding training sessions at this year's Creative Pro Expo on 23-25 October 08.
They will this week also be providing free hands-on training sessions in association with Dreamtek, Rapid and Apple for using Macs with professional applications for creative work.
