Avid and Soho Editors Offer Free Training

Avid and Soho Editors Training today announced it will host the Avid Learning Event, a day of free seminars and training workshops on Avid’s flagship suite of audio and video solutions – Media Composer 6.5 and Pro Tools 10 – in London on Friday 9 November.
The day is open to experienced Avid editors and engineers, editors considering switching from Final Cut Pro and institutions interested in training and official Avid certification. Avid and Soho Editors Training experts will be on hand to offer practical advice and answer any questions.
The Avid Learning Event (ALE) takes place at Soho Editors Training Berwick Street office between 11am – 5pm on Friday 9 November, with sessions running hourly throughout the day.

3pm – 4pm: Pro Tools 10 Media Composer 6.5 for FCP Users
4pm – 5pm: Media Composer 6.5 Editing with Media Composer 6.5
As well as the seminars and workshops, there is a ‘walk in and play’ opportunity for users to get hands-on experience of Media Composer 6.5, Pro Tools 10, HD Native Thunderbolt interface, and the Artist Series console.
