Rushes' Adrian Seery Scoops Top Colour Award At UK Music Video Awards

Rushes have announced that Colourist Adrian Seery won the award for 'Best Telecine in a Music Video' at the UK Music Video Awards earlier this week at the Odeon West End in Leicester Square.
Adrian scooped the top prize for his grade of KT Tunstall's 'If Only' video for Director James Caddick and Producer Tom Shard at Amarillo Films.
Also nominated in the 'Best Telecine in a Video Category' were Simone Grattarola for his work on The Hoosiers 'Worried About Ray' and Marcus Timpson for the Nine Black Alps track 'Bitter End', completing an amazing three nominations for Rushes.
Adrian commented: "The challenge of the job was to be able to mix the new and original footage seamlessly and the pleasure lay in the fact that my input on the job was sitting side by side with footage shot by the great Werner Herzog."
Joce Capper, Managing Director at Rushes, added: "Congratulations to Adrian, it really is well deserved. We all know how brilliant he is! And congratulations of course to Simone and Marcus - we are so proud of the Rushes' Telecine department. To have three nominated colourists is excellent."
This great news couldn't come at a better time for Rushes who have also invested significantly in its grading capabilities with the acquisition of a da vinci Systems Resolve.
The new suite will be launched in early November.
