Ross Video Wins 2025 NAB Show Project Of The Year Award

Ross Video has been awarded the 2025 NAB Show Project of the Year Award in the Production category for its collaborative work with Nelco Media and the Texas House of Representatives.
This prestigious award, part of NAB Show's new program spotlighting the most ambitious and impactful projects across the media and entertainment industry, recognises Ross Video's role in delivering a multi-room broadcast solution that redefines the future of legislative production.
Faced with the challenge of upgrading 16 committee rooms and the main chamber to comply with state requirements for legislative recording, the Texas House of Representatives partnered with Ross Video and Nelco Media to implement a smart, scalable system that delivers professional-grade broadcasts with ease. The result: a groundbreaking deployment powered by Ross Video’s Quorum, Carbonite production switchers, and XPression graphics, designed to make multi-room control intuitive—even for novice operators.
"At Ross Video, we believe that great storytelling and public transparency go hand in hand," said Jack Horry, Product Manager – Quorum, Ross Video. "This project proves how technology can simplify complex workflows and improve access to vital government proceedings. We're honoured to have supported the Texas House and proud to be recognised alongside Nelco Media for pushing the boundaries of what's possible."
"We needed a solution that could support our commitment to transparency while simplifying operations for our staff," said Jay Koog, Texas House of Representatives. "Ross Video and Nelco Media delivered a system that exceeded our expectations—intuitive, reliable, and future-ready. This award is a proud moment for our team."
The 2025 NAB Show Project of the Year Awards celebrate innovation across four categories: Acquisition, Production, Operations, and Delivery. Winners were announced live during a ceremony on April 8 at the NAB Show Main Stage in Las Vegas, hosted by Guy Tannenbaum of KTNV Las Vegas.
