SONOPEDIA Sound Design Competition Announced By Blastwave FX And Post Magazine
Blastwave FX, developer of next-generation HD sound effects libraries, is teaming up with Post Magazine to host the SONOPEDIA Sound Design Competition.
Anyone can register online at: www.postmagazine.com to download 40 free sound effects selected from the SONOPEDIA sound effects library.
Participants then have until November 14 to create and submit a 30-second sound design narrative using those sounds.
A panel of Academy Award-winning sound designers - including Randy Thom, Lon Bender and Richard King - will judge the competition and select a winner to be announced in the December issue of Post Magazine.
The winner will receive SONOPEDIA, the Encyclopedia of HD sound Effects -a $4,000 value!
SONOPEDIA consists of 20,000 HD sound effects delivered on a 250GB Glyph hard drive. For more information on the contest, rules, judges and SONOPEDIA, go to: www.postmagazine.com.
