BBC join Sound Effects Library

The Sound Effects Library have signed an agreement with the BBC that will make their sounds accessible to the public via www.sound-effects-library.com.
This valuable 165 CD BBC resource will soon be added to the vast on-line archives of the Sound Effects Library, allowing users to search, audition, purchase and download high quality 16 bit 44.1 or 48 KHz Wav or Aiff sound files in a matter of minutes.
Using state of the art technology and the expertise of their parent company The Tape Gallery, Sound-Effects Library have created an award winning service, which has revolutionised the process of acquiring royalty free sounds for all.
The addition of the comprehensive and extensive catalogue of BBC effects, which includes categories from 'Africa' to 'World War II', will maximise the library's full potential as a complete archive and fulfil Managing Director Lloyd Billing's vision of a resource that contains almost every imaginable sound.
