InVision Range Gets Hearing In Amsterdam

A UK manufacturer of windshields and microphone suspension systems, Rycote, has been exhibiting their latest ranges at IBC 2008, in Amsterdam.
These include the recently introduced InVision range of noise-reducing suspension systems, updated versions of the company's award-winning modular suspension and windshield systems based around Rycote's patented Lyre suspension clip, and several new Mini Windjammers for use with compact digital field recorders.
Alongside the existing eight models in the InVision range, which debuted earlier this year, IBC also saw the unveiling of two new InVision models: INV-9 and INV-10.
With a 30mm Lyre support clip at the front of its support assembly and a 19-25mm clip at the back, INV-9 is designed to hold mics such as Shure's SM57 and SM58, as well as the Neumann KMS105.
INV-10 is designed specifically for Sennheiser's popular MKH range of mics, with two specially designed flat-sided clips (to accommodate the flat-edged mic barrel of the MKH range) on a 70mm support bar.
