G2 Systems launches 'Ultima' Evolution MSTC range update

G2 Systems has launched an updated version of its MSTC multi-standard time-base correctors.
The previous range has been replaced by a single product, Ultima, which combines all the features of Evolution plus enhanced standards conversion at a very competitive price. Colour correction, noise reduction, test pattern generation, output fader, logo inserter, component interface and four line two field standards conversion are now included as standard, the only options being an SDI input/output interface and high stability master oscillator.
Overall signal quality has also been improved with a 10-bit internal path and improved multi-standard comb filtering of composite signals. Ultima features on-screen and front panel control of all functions with setting memories.
At the same time, an intermediate version of the TeleViser PC overlay card has been introduced. TV3D-EXK has been priced between the analogue internal keying Junior and the fully featured analogue/SDI TV3D-24 rack-mounted version.
Consisting of an AGP and PCI card combination, TV3D- EXK is installed within the PC and provides either analogue or SDI key and fill signals for use with a mixer in external key mode. TV3D - EXK is fully genlockable and has all key generation features of the rest of the range including soft-edge and semi-transparency effects. As a result, cost savings are made on the TV3D-24 version, making this combination ideal for broadcast use in applications such as games shows, information overlay etc. where very high quality results are essential.
