Miranda Highlights Multiple HD Products At Broadcast Asia

Miranda Technologies will be highlighting multiple new HD products at the Broadcast Asia show (stand 7C4-09), including automated promo playout, 5.1 audio processing and multi-image display systems.
The Kaleido-X multi-room, multi-image display processor offers the highest picture definition across all image sizes for the most critical monitoring applications.
The processor also offers unsurpassed signal flexibility, with the ability to display signals freely across multiple displays, without restrictions on signal position, repetition, format or aspect ratio.
A range of expansion options allow the system to be scaled all the way up to 128 multi-image display outputs, without impacting the signal flexibility or quality.
The processor also offers exceptional resiliency, with an auto-recovery capability that automatically configures new cards loaded in the frame from other installed cards.
Miranda's Xmedia Suite graphics and voice-over automation offers faster interstitial and in-show promo generation plus improved consistency in comparison to traditional, manual rendering of individual promos. The system uses template-based graphics populated by traffic data, with either live rendering or pre-rendering playout options. These improvements in efficiency are achieved without sacrificing creativity, or the ability to make late changes to the rundown.
The new Densité Series DAP-1781 audio processor module is designed to simplify 5.1 audio for HD. In addition to its proven audio processing, delay matching and shuffling capabilities, the DAP can now perform loudness measurement and correction, Dolby E and AC-3 encoding and decoding, and high quality 5.1 to stereo Down Mixing and stereo to 5.1 Upmixing.
