Film School Staff Secure 4.8% Rise

Staff at the London International Film School have been awarded an annual pay increase of 4.8% following union negotiations.
Branch Secretary Chrissy Bright said: "This 4.8% pay award demonstrates the value of BECTU membership. The support available to us from the union, led by our national official, was of great assistance to us in achieving such a positive outcome to this year's pay negotiations."
Pat Styles, National Official, said: "The 4.8% pay settlement reflects the hard work carried out by branch secretary Chrissy Bright and local representative Wojciech Wrzesniewski. The award will go some way to help our members in meeting the rising costs of working and living in London."
The pay settlement will be backdated to 1 January.
