Vine Post Heat Up With Flame

New London facility Vine Post Production has invested in an Autodesk Flame visual effects system. The system and software were sold and installed by Autodesk's reseller XTFX.
Opened in November 2007 and located at Newman Street, Vine Post Production provides online editing, compositing, visual effects and on-set supervision services to the film, broadcast and commercials industries.
Vine Post Production has already completed several projects in collaboration with Clarke's Associates using the new Flame system.
These include a launch promo by Cricket Ltd for Land Rover which aired at the Detroit Motor Show in January. Vine Post Production won the project because it offered flexibility at an affordable price and could provide on-set supervision, as well as post and final delivery at HD resolution.
The brief was to create a 90-second promo to reveal a new concept car, the Land Rover LRX. Vine Post Production had just two weeks to complete the job, including on-set supervision.
Visual effects artist and owner of Vine Productions, Michael Illingworth, completed all the visual effects work, including creating a lighting effect to make the car look like it's travelling through time-lapsed car lights.
Vine Post Production used Autodesk Cleaner media mastering and encoding software to create Quicktime files for the client to review and approve. The promo was produced by Monica Clements at Cricket Ltd and Simon Clarke of Clarkes Associates, and directed by Kevin McKiernan.
