Kamera And SNTV Sign Distribution Agreement

Kamera, the Stockholm based web and mobile TV specialists, have signed an agreement with SNTV, a leading television sports news agency, to produce and distribute its content to new media customers worldwide.
The deal signals SNTV’s ongoing commitment as market leader in sports news video content, and is confirmation of Kamera’s standing as one the leading online sports content producers and distributors.
From March 2008, Kamera will take over the existing production of 10 sports news clips per day and manage the distribution of those videos to online and mobile customers worldwide. Kamera will also, in association with SNTV, produce special event packages for Euro 2008 and the Beijing Olympics. In addition, Kamera will market and distribute SNTV’s content to existing and new customers worldwide.
This latest agreement allows SNTV’s sports news and highlights to be syndicated to a global network of websites, mobile operators and online portals, enabling consumers to follow sports events where they want and when they want.
“Sport is one of the most important content categories for online and mobile TV, so we are very proud to have been chosen to produce and distribute SNTV’s high profile sports service. With both the Olympics and European Championships in the pipeline for 2008, I believe this collaborative venture will attract a great deal of interest,” said Henrik Eklund, CEO of Kamera.
“SNTV sees the partnership with Kamera as a great opportunity to provide first class content to its online and mobile clients. With the European Championships and the Beijing Olympics approaching, demand for top class sports news has never been greater. SNTV and Kamera combine premium sports content and state of the art technology to deliver a compelling product,” said David Howells, SNTV’s Managing Editor.
