BBC In Talks With Channel Five To Get BBC 1 Controller Hunt

Jay Hunt, the newly appointed BBC 1 Controller may have to work a nine-month notice period at Five.
Hunt joined Channel Five three months ago but was confirmed as the replacement for Peter Fincham last week.
Media reports indicate that the BBC is in talks to buy Hunt out of her Five contract. It is not known how much money the BBC have offered or if Five will accept.
A BBC spokesperson said: “We are still in discussions about when Jay will join. Nothing has been decided.”
A Five spokesperson said an offer has not been received from the BBC.
