O21 Television Appoint Ewen Hamilton

O21 Television has announced that it has appointed Ewen Hamilton as Managing Director.
As a result of 021's continuing investment in new facilities and recent contract renewal with ITV Sport, the company is looking to expand the management team to service the additional workload and challenge for further business.
The new man will work along side Rob Hollier who is also a Board Director and has front line responsibility for all OBs working primarily for ITV Sport on their programming including Champions League (now in high definition), UEFA Cup and Boxing. Andrew Jones will continue as Business Development Director.
Warren Newbert, GMG Chief Operating Officer, said: "Ewen is a well respected, strong operator with a first class track record and we look forward to welcoming him into our team. Rob is a key person for ITV and this change will enable us to provide them with a first class, focused service."
Ewen Hamilton said "O21 are a formidable company both in terms of size and capability of the fleet and their experienced crew. I am delighted to be joining the team and looking forward to the challenge."
O21 has launched two new high definition trucks this year with another one currently in production and should be completed in December.
