ITV Sport Renew O21 Television's Outside Broadcast Contract

ITV Sport recently confirmed the renewal of its contract with outside broadcast facilities provider 021 Television.
The contract, which commenced in August, covers the provision of outside broadcast facilities for ITV Sport programming including major sporting events such as the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, Rugby World Cup and British Touring Cars.
An established outside broadcast provider in both UK and European markets, O21 Television is making huge investments to upgrade and extend its truck facilities.
Following the company’s acquisition by Gravity Media Group last year, there is a new focus to drive the business forward by utilising new high definition technologies.
O21's investment programme has delivered two new large high definition production trucks this year with supporting tender vehicles, the refurbishment and upgrade of two standard definition units and there is another high definition truck in production and due to be delivered before the end of the year.
