O21 Delivers UEFA Cup Final In HD

O21 Television will provide the host broadcast facilities at the UEFA Cup final, taking place at the City of Manchester Stadium tonight, which is being shot in high definition.
O21 will provide host broadcaster ITV with the world feed and also the facilities for ITV Presentation live on ITV1. O21 will also provide add-on facilities for Scottish, French, German, Russian, Spanish and Middle Eastern broadcasters. There are a total of 41 foreign commentators.
The World Feed will be provided by the two flagship high definition trucks, Unit 8 and Unit 6, Unit 3 and Tape 4 will provide ITV's Presentation facilities. There are over 30 cameras including Radio, Super Slo-Motion and Goal Line cameras and 9 EVS XT2S.
This is the second year in succession that O21 Television has provided complete HD facilities for the UEFA Cup Final following the event in Glasgow last year won by Sevilla FC.
Rob Hollier, O21 Unit Manager, said: "O21 have a strong track record in providing OB facilities to the host and unilateral broadcasters on major sporting events. We currently have Unit 7 (HD) en route to Moscow for the Champions League Final and are busy preparing for the Euro 2008 Championships next month."
