Granada International Gets Dramatic In Latin America

Following the recent Brazil TV Forum in Rio, leading distributor Granada International has sold a raft of dramas and TV movies to HBO Latin America Group, it was announced today by Nadine Nohr, Managing Director.
Titles included in the deal include among others British dramas 'Dracula', 'Agatha Christie's Marple Series 3' and Hollywood TV movies, 'Tipping Point', 'And She Was' and 'Wildfires'.
The dramas will air on HBO's pan Latin American cable channel throughout the region in the coming months.
Luis Peraza, Senior Vice President Production and Acquisitions at HBO, commented, "We are very satisfied to have acquired such a diverse range of compelling dramas from Granada International for our wide audiences throughout Latin America."
Flavio Medeiros, Senior Sales Executive based in Granada International's Rio offices, added: "These are significant sales into a territory that tends to prefer its own local drama series. It is a testament to the quality of Granada International's drama programming that they are of interest to Latin American broadcasters."
