SEP Invests In Ross Synergy 1 Multi-Definition Production Switchers

Ross Video have announced Secretaria de Educación Pública (SEP) in Mexico City has invested in two Ross Synergy 1 Multi-Definition (MD) Production Switchers, Synergy 1.5 MD, Synergy 100 MD, and Synergy 100 Standard Definition (SD).
SEP will be using the switchers primarily for educational and cultural programming.
"We chose the Ross Synergy Multi-Definition Switchers for their ease of use, price point, and outstanding feature set," said Francisco Xochipa Sanchez, Director de Ingenieria, SEP. "Our operational and engineering teams found Ross on-site training excellent, they completely exceeded our expectations."
SEP broadcasts to 30,000 down links within Mexico and an additional 300 down links outside the country including Argentina and the US. The programming incorporates a classroom learning environment for viewers. SEP is a government sponsored organisation connected with Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) and Canal 11 (ONCE), and the Instituto Politecnico Nacional.
"We are extremely pleased SEP has invested in Synergy Multi-Definition technology," said Fernando Paulino, Ross Video Manager, Latin America. "SEP recognizes the powerful HD and SD feature rich abilities of Synergy. The switchers will deliver outstanding performance for their studio and mobile productions."
