Alchemea Update Post-Production Facility With Digidesign ICON System

London based Alchemea College have recently updated their post-production training facility.
Based around a Digidesign ICON system the room will feature a D-Control work surface, x mon, HD3 Accell, Avid Mojo, sync I/O and 192/96 I/O converters. The room will be a fully specified emulation of a modern dubbing theatre complete with Genelec 5.1 monitoring and a Stewart acoustically transparent cinema screen.
With recent clients including the BBC, Channel 4 & BSkyB, Alchemea has forged a reputation as the UK's leading provider of certified Pro Tools training. From February 2007 Alchemea will be offering Digidesign ICON D-Control and 5.1 mixing courses. Customers will also be able to take advantage of Alchemea's bespoke training and consultancy service.
Diploma students will also benefit from being able to mix their film projects in a state of the art world facility gaining invaluable experience on what is becoming a widely used large format work surface among the post and music production community.
Alchemea Director & Registrar Mike Sinnott commented: "Due to workload pressures there are times when it is difficult for studio managers to book their own facility for training. We are reacting to this demand for off site high end training as well as adding value to our full time audio engineering diploma."
