Irish Film Board Announces Recipients Of Multiple Project Development Funding
Bord Scannán na hÉireann / the Irish Film Board (IFB) has announced 10 successful recipients of its Multiple Project Development (MPD) funding, a new initiative that was announced in September this year.
MPD funding introduces a fresh approach to the provision of support for producers who have an attractive slate of projects that they are seeking to develop. The funding is designed to create in producers a sense of purpose combined with a sense of responsibility. It confers autonomy on recipients, who are trusted to know what projects to develop and how.
The successful applicants are a mix of producers covering a spectrum of experience, taste and ambition. All have at least two viable and attractive feature film projects in development or available to them for development. They will have access to MPD support for a minimum of two years.
The IFB received 45 applications and the following companies were selected:

- Treasure Entertainment (Robert Walpole, Paddy Breathnach, Paddy McDonald)
- Zanzibar Films (Edwina Forkin)
