Plymouth Media-Partnership launches new business development funding

The Plymouth Media-Partnership has announced a second round of business support grants for its members, with the deadline for applications on Friday December 30.
The scheme, supported by South West Screen, offers companies a range of business development opportunities including a fund to bring in expertise, and another for attending international trade events.
Meanwhile, last month, PM-P hosted a visit by TV celebrity chef and Dartmouth restaurateur John Burton-Race, who gave an audience on the joys (and perils) of setting up in business in the South West. The event was an inspirational talk for PM-P’s media companies, taking place at the Barbican Theatre in Plymouth.
Burton-Race told a packed Barbican Theatre why he moved to the South West. He said: "I got into the South Hams and I just started looking at the scenery and the whole thing and I just thought here I go dreaming again. I fell in love with it instantly."
