Fleetwood Mobiles help MOBO's to make history

The Music of Black Origin (Mobo) Awards - made history this year by being broadcast live for the first time in 11 years.
Production company Celador captured the ceremony and performances at London's Royal Albert Hall for live broadcast on BBC3 and subsequent broadcast BBC ONE. Fleetwood Mobiles was commissioned to handle the music production and used OB vehicle Fleetwood One, manned by Tim Summerhayes, Ollie Nesham and Matt Wood, to record and mix the audio in stereo.
Line producer Jacqui Moore commented: "Producing a programme for live broadcast is always nerve-racking as there's no room for mistakes, but everything went to plan and we were delighted with the results. Fleetwood were brilliant and did a marvellous job. They are the only sound recording company that I choose to work with - and in fact the Mobo's was the fifth production that I've used them on this year alone."
Fleetwood director Tim Summerhayes added: "It's always a pleasure to work with Jacqui and we were delighted when she commissioned us to handle the music production for this year's Mobo Awards. We collaborated with Britannia Row, which was supplying the PA, and thanks to three days of meticulous preparation the whole event went really smoothly."
