Fleetwood Mobiles opens new post production facility
Fleetwood Mobiles has opened a new post production facility at its headquarters in Denham, Middlesex, enabling it to offer a full service incorporating live sound recording, mixing, mastering, sound to picture dubbing and DVD encoding to its music and broadcast customers.
The studio is equipped with a 104-channel Euphonix CS3000 console and has 5.1 surround sound monitoring using ATC and PMC monitors. It also has a 72-track Pro Tools HD system, a Sony High Definition projector and large projection screen. To ensure that all sound to picture formats are available, Fleetwood has also installed Digital Performer, Logic and Pyramix systems.
Fleetwood's Managing Director Ian Dyckhoff comments: "The new studio is able to offer both Dolby Digital and DTS encoding, so we can provide everything a client might need."
The desire to open a permanent post production facility has been part of Fleetwood's plan since management team of Ian Dyckhoff, Tim Summerhayes and Ian Cooper acquired the business from Sanctuary Mobiles in November 2005.
