IIR promotes portfolio at PLASA06

IIR, the world’s leading organiser of professional audio, lighting, AV, and events industry trade exhibitions, is exhibiting at PLASA06 to promote its expanding portfolio of international trade fairs and exhibition brands.
In a year that has seen the company launch the PALA India exhibition and consolidate its position in the South East Asia market, IIR will announce a further expansion of its international activities at a corporate presentation at PLASA on Monday 11 September.
The presentation in Room 208 at 12 noon, will see Peter Rigby, CEO of Informa Group, IIR’s parent company, and IIR Exhibitions Entertainment and Technology Group, Group Exhibitions Director Darren Brechin address exhibitors and press, along with a newly expanded international management team. Guest speakers will include PLASA Managing Director Matthew Griffiths.
Announcements will include new international industry exhibitions and events for 2007 and beyond, including the launch of the Middle East Lighting Design Awards (MELDA), the further expansion of the PALME Show in Dubai, and a worldwide consolidation of the company’s brands and events worldwide.
Throughout PLASA06, IIR will be promoting the opportunities afforded manufacturers, distributors, and providers of services across the professional sound, lighting, AV, and events industries by its portfolio of vertical industry brands and international exhibitions.
IIR Exhibitions Entertainment and Installation Technologies Group is organiser of the PALME Exhibition in the Middle East, the PALM Exhibition in China, PALA SE Asia, and PALA India. Its dedicated vertical sector brands include Install, Musac, and Event 360.
