IBC 2006: Miranda to highlight Xstation playout server features

Miranda has announced that it will launch the Xstation HD/SD playout server with integral channel branding and playlist control at IBC2006.
"Xstation is a true 'channel-in-a-box' system which is designed to reduce the cost of adding extra television channels, as well as to simplify and speed installation and playout processes," said Darin Crosby, Managing Director Europe at Miranda Technologies.

Xstation builds upon Miranda's high-performance Vertigo XG graphics processor and the patented Xmedia Suite graphics automation applications. It offers full-featured playout, with unsurpassed graphics rendering, for dynamic control over long-form clips, commercial spots, tickers, crawls, and more.
Xstation's high-quality graphics engine allows a virtually unlimited number of animated elements to be individually keyed at each layer.
Xstudio, the graphics authoring application for Xstation, offers easy building of branding templates and graphics creation, along with data interfacing for applications such as weather updates and news crawls. It features a keyframe animation editor and timeline control for real-time animation playback.
Xplay is the easy-to-use playout automation application that features a highly graphical interface with a preview of upcoming events, including bugs and crawls. Xstation can run as a stand-alone, turnkey system using playlists created in Xbuilder, or it can use an existing third-party traffic system to trigger all primary and secondary events.
