DIGITAL VISION ANNOUNCE FOUR PRODUCTS

DIGITAL Vision suppliers of products and system solutions for image processing, compression and distribution of digital media content will launch four new products at IBC.
The new AGR-IV grain and noise reducer has an advanced algorithm for film grain processing with support for 3/2 pull down and cartoon material.
Digital Vision have also developed a new ACP-Viper colour corrector aimed at advanced tape-to-tape colour correction. The Viper option provides a power boost with dual parallel primary and secondary colour correctors including advanced Viper keying between the two.
The BitPack-SD 3.3 a Standard Definition TV (SDTV) Pre-mastering Workstation for DVD and video servers will also be on display. This is a non-chip set based MPEG2 engine for both 4:2:0 and 4:2:2. It features Windows NT interface enabling project management, graphical encoding, quality analyses and thumbnail pictures.
The final product being launched is the BitPack-HD1.0 a HDTV Pre-mastering Workstation for High Definition TV (HDTV). This offers a path to create MPEG2 files for ATSC 1080i/720p and DVB 1080i HDTV formats as well as SDTV.
