Metro Events beat the drums for BAE Systems

Metro Events has announced details of a recently completed project for BAE Systems, the aerospace company.
The BAE Systems Rochester Employee Recognition Evening took place on February 10 and Metro Events provided a comprehensive AV system, consultancy and onsite attendance.
The event for 260 BAE Systems staff was held at the John Hendry Pavilion at the Kent County Showground and included a number of live acts including three drumming acts.
BAE Systems wanted to move away from its traditional awards format and so used musical and theatrical acts with a drumming and percussive theme, a professional MC and an Indian themed dinner. To achieve this lively event Metro Events installed twin widescreen displays either side of the stage that were used to display pre-recorded video clips and live visuals of the evening's events. In addition Metro Events installed extensive lighting for mood and special effects and a comprehensive audio system to cover a number of live musical acts and speech.
Rajeev Gupte, Communications Manager at BAE Systems, commented: "Upon deciding to make these awards different from previous events we chose to work with Metro Events for their expertise especially in the production of the live music, speech and stage acts. The team created the right atmosphere and delivered the event successfully."
