News Image
THE ROYAL Television Society in Scotland have launched a programme of events for the winter season, giving members and non-members the opportunity to meet industry figures from a variety of disciplines.
The season began on September 30 at Glasgow’s Tramway Theatre with a session on pre-school TV. Writer and producer Jocelyn Stevenson described the creative processes behind her series from ‘Fraggle Rock’, ‘Charlie Chalk’, ‘Moptops’ Shop’, and the Channel 4 series ‘The Hoobs’.

Her autobiography ‘Living Out Loud’ tells her full story.
Future events in the offing from RTS Scotland include the annual Alan Campbell Swinton lecture on October 26 at Clydeport, Glasgow, which will this year be given by Joyce Taylor, Managing Director of Discovery Networks Europe, and the Annual general meeting at STV, Glasgow on November 24 will be followed by a workshop on TV Themes given by composer Tony Hatch.
Contact Tony Currie, tony.currie@bbc.co.uk, for details about all of the forthcoming events.
